Composer Conversations 2017

This is your chance to get up close to some leading Australian composers and hear all about writing chamber music!

The Australia Ensemble's 2017 series of Composer Conversations is hosted by Australia Ensemble Artistic Chair, Paul Stanhope, who has invited composers whose works are part of the concert program in for a chat. These intimate and engaging discussions are free and open to all, with time for questions. This is an opportunity to learn more about being a composer and about a particular work before you hear it live in concert!

In 2017, the Composer Conversations will be held in the Council Chamber of the UNSW Chancellery, which has generously been made available to the Australia Ensemble and its audience. Each Composer Conversation begins at 7pm and concludes by 7.45pm. The Chancellery building is immediately adjacent to the Clancy Auditorium, and just a short walk to return for the start of the concert at 8pm.
