The newness of music!

On Tuesday June 7, four members of the Australia Ensemble worked with PhD composition student Brad Taylor-Newling on one of the works in his portfolio, Into Outside Over There, for flute and string trio.

Geoffrey Collins (flute), Dimity Hall (violin), Irina Morozova (viola) and Julian Smiles (cello) spent an hour with Brad and academic Dr John Peterson and Dr Michael Hooper, exploring possibilities for the work and making recommendations. Being a work-in-progress, we all look forward to hearing the finished product!'
