Concert 3 2017: Pines of Rome
Under the fearless leadership of conductor Steven Hillinger, the UNSW Orchestra draws its year to a close with Respighi's spectacular tone poem, Pines of Rome, with its immense lineup of brass players and generous orchestration.
Young UNSW pianist Tara Chan wil also delight the audience with a performance of Schumann's sublime Piano Concerto Op.54, the program rounded out with Tchaikovsky's vivid Capriccio Italien. Definitely a program for all!
