Royalty and Requiem

Choristers of the CMC have been hard at work since the beginning of the year, and are thrilled to perform in their upcoming concert Collegium Musicm Choir presents: Mozart and Handel.

The large choir, comprising of some 81 students, staff and alumni, meets every week under the vigilant ear of conductor and choral director, Sonia Maddock. This semester’s rehearsal period also involved a special appearance by guest conductor Michelle Leonard, infusing another flavour of conducting to the already dynamic choir.

In its first concert of 2017, the CMC will perform the Mozart Requiem, and Handel's Coronation Anthems, accompanied by members of the Australia Ensemble and associated guest artists. The Mozart Requiem will feature soloists Sarah Ampil, soprano; Nyssa Milligan, alto; Richard Butler, tenor; Andrew O'Connor, bass (appearing courtesy of The Song Company).

Tickets are available online via Eventbite, or at the door.
