I want to keep my old seat, how do I do that?

Seating preferences for the 2020 existing subscribers will be taken into consideration for the 2022 season. Please record your seating preference when prompted when you purchase your subscription ticket(s) through Eventbrite. Alternatively, you can let the Box office know your preference to retain your 2020 seat over the phone when making your booking. The Box office will work to accommodate where possible existing subscriber’s preference to retain seats from the 2020 season.

 

I want to change seats, how do I do that?

Please record your seating preference/comments when prompted when you purchase your subscription ticket(s) through Eventbrite. Alternatively, you can let the Box office know your preference to move seats  when making your booking over the phone.

 

I want to pay by cheque, how do I do that?

Will there be an interval?

In 2022, the Australia Ensemble UNSW concerts will be presented without interval.

 

Will there be a bar and refreshments available at the concerts?

There will be no bar service in 2022.

 

How do I get to Sir John Clancy Auditorium?

Public transport: Buses are available from Railway Square, Circular Quay, and Bondi Junction (telephone the Travel Infoline on 131 500 for details.) A taxi zone is located on High Street, immediately outside the Auditorium.

Pedestrian access: via Gate 9, High Street Kensington.

Car access and parking: via Gate 11, Botany St to free onsite parking behind the Auditorium for subscription concerts.

Disabled parking & access: via Gate 9, High Street available at subscription concerts immediately adjacent to the Auditorium. Please call 02 9385 4874 to arrange disabled access..

Where do I park?

Enter through Gate 11, Botany St. Park in multi-level parking station. Parking charges apply on weekdays, but there is no charge on weekends.

 

Is there a discount for UNSW Staff?

We aim to keep our prices affordable as possible, and while we have no ongoing staff offer, we do occasionally target schools and faculties with special ticket offers.

 

Is there a discount for UNSW students?

$15 student rush tickets are available directly prior to the concert through the Box office in Sir John Clancy Auditorium from 7pm.

 

Are there any subscriber benefits?

By subscribing you receive a discount of over 25% off your ticket prices. Subscribers are kept up to date on ensemble news via six AE Newsletters issued via email prior to each evening event.

 

Do I have to print off my tickets?

Subscribers will be issued with a season pass. Please bring this along to each concert and show it to the ushers to gain entrance to the concert. Single ticket purchases should print off their tickets and bring this along to the concert, and show the ticket to the ushers to gain entrance to the concert.

 

When will I receive my subscriber pass?

Unless arranged otherwise with the Box office, Subscriber passes will be posted out, and should arrive before the first concert.

 

Will brochures be mailed out?

A paper copy of the Season program will be mailed out to subscribers yet to resubscribe in January 2022.

 

What do I do if I have a credit from 2021?

Subscribers with credits will receive an email with a one-off personalised discount code and link with credit already applied to the booking. Please use this link to purchase your subscription online.

 

What if I have credit and my 2022 booking is different from my 2021 booking?

If you are booking a different number of tickets in 2022 from 2021, we ask that you contact the Box office directly to arrange your booking, ph: 9385 4874

 

I would like to donate to the Australia Ensemble, how do I do that?

Thank you for supporting our outreach activities. Patrons can donate to the Australia Ensemble UNSW via Eventbrite at the time of booking. Alternatively, if you wish to send a cheque, please send this to:

Please include a note with the name of the donor, and a postal and email address so we can arrange a tax deductible receipt for donations made over $2.

 

I would like to sit with friends, how do I arrange that?

Please include the name details of your friends in your ticket booking online, or give these details over the phone to the Box office when making the booking. Where possible the Box office will aim to accommodate ticket requests however this is not always guaranteed.
