The UNSW Wind Symphony is excited to present its final concert of the year, a dynamic and varied program exploring the people, experiences, and ideas that shape our lives. From Elgar’s Enigma Variations, a heartfelt and often humorous musical tribute to friendship, to Julie Giroux’s One Life Beautiful, a moving reflection on life’s fragility and significance, each work offers a unique perspective on the human experience. Grainger’s Children’s March, Harrison’s Splinter, and Tanouye’s Kokopelli’s Dance bring colour, imagination, and adventure, while Thomas’ Forward/Still invites reflection on the challenges of progress and change.
