UNSW Wind Symphony Concert: Symphonic Metamorphosis

Symphonic Metamorphosis, the second concert of the UNSW Wind Symphony 2025 season, traverses the landscape of musical storytelling with a bold and evocative program. The ensemble will take you on journey through a musical retelling of Hermann Melville’s Moby Dick in McBeth’s of Sailors and Whales, all the way through to the streets of historic Prague as the iconic bells chime in Husa’s Music for Prague 1968. Through each work, the program reveals the transformative nature of music and its ability to reflect history and the stories that shape us.
