UNSW Concerto Auditions

In 2021, we will again offer the opportunity for soloists to audition for a performance opportunity in Term 2 and 3 with the UNSW Orchestra.
All are welcome to apply, from within and outside the UNSW Orchestra. Preference is given to current UNSW students.
Soloists will be selected based on artistic proficiency, repertoire choice and the orchestration of the concerto. The final decision will rest with the Music Performance Unit, UNSW. The Music Performance Unit reserves the right to not appoint a winner should the level of candidates be deemed not appropriate. The winning soloist(s) will need to make themselves available for a performance with UNSW Orchestra in Term 2 or 3, on a date as programmed by the Music Performance Unit.
For the audition, two contrasting movements from a concerto should be prepared by candidates, unaccompanied.
Registrations for the 2021 UNSW Orchestra Concerto Auditions have now closed. Applicants will be emailed with further details.
