Australia Ensemble UNSW is delighted to invite leading Logie nominated Australian actor, writer and director Virginia Gay to perform the role of narrator in its final 2023 subscription concert: Carnival of the Animals.
Virginia Gay's contribution to the Australian Arts and Media industry is profound. Industry recognised and celebrated for her work, she has led a highly successful career that has seen her perform, direct and write a multitude of projects across TV, short films and plays.
We are absolutely thrilled that this multi-faceted superstar will perform with the ensemble, in Carnival of the Animals.
Join us on Saturday October 21, 7:30pm at Sir John Clancy Auditorium as we finish the year in style, performing a program that includes Ravel’s Mother Goose, the distinctive Australia sound of Ross Edwards, some sparkling Mozart, and the deftly-drawn birds and animals of Saint-Saëns’s Grand Zoological Fantasy.
